i do not want to fall into the perfectionism trap and end up in a world where i am writing but not hitting the big red publish button. one of the biggest points of friction for me is the artificial built up pressure around publishing only once "perfect." if i have a thought or idea that i want to just jam on and put out there i want to do so with minimum internal conflict.

to "ship" with less pressure i'm following a great idea that justin mares come up to signal which of his posts are fully edited and flushed (proper capitalization) and which are just getting ideas down on paper (no capitalization)

i will be following this capitalization strategy for now.  may update to a point rating system to indicate the quality of a piece in the future, but quite frankly that even seems like unnecessary friction. if a point based rating system sounds interesting check out nick yoder's 10-point system
